      @hsdude Hat das Board ein AMI Bios? Dann kannst Du die Parameter mit AMIDEWIN.exe ändern, wenn Du ein WindowsPE bootest. Habe keine funktionierende Version für Linux gefunden. Die Parameter wären /SS für die Seriennummer und /SP für den Produktnamen. Habe das letztens mit einem anderen Board getestet und hat auch funktioniert.

        @charlez This seems to be a change in 4.9, python runs with limited rights now. So you may need to wait for an updated logic module.

          @sinn3r, ja habe AMI Board und hatte das genau so gemacht mit dem DMIEDIT. Ich hatte allerdings die DOS Version benutzt, werde es mal mit der Windows Version probieren. Laut AMI Angaben, bräuchte man allerdings eine neuere Version (meine ist von 2009). Aber die neue Version finde ich eben nicht.
          Ich probiere und werde berichten.

            @hsdude ich habe eine Version von 2015 und eine von 2016, funktioniert hat allerdings auch nur eine davon.
            Die Software sollte sich in den gängigen Bios-Hacker Foren finden.

              @charlez This is indeed a confirmed error with the Check_Host Building Block (Baustein) and Gira Homserver 4.9

                @sinn3r, würdest du die beiden progs zur Verfügung stellen ? Ich habe mir schon den Wolf gesucht, finde nur die alte Version. Die neuen sind alle mit dem blöden “erst zahlen, dann downloaden” Attribut und das mache ich nicht, ist eh nur abzogge.
                Würde mich sehr freuen , danke schon mal

                    bekomme leider in meiner vm die bios440.rom nicht eingebunden
                    mein esxi 6 bringt leider immer den fehler “Das Gerät ‘Bootstrap’ ist nicht verfügbar.” wenn ich sie starten will mit geänderter .vmx datei
                    kennt das jemand? gestern hats noch geklappt.

                            Is your edited bios valid?
                            I was unable to edit the bios with phoenix editor. Don’t know why.
                            Had to use an hex editor to modify bios.

                                gibts eigentlich ne möglichkeit eine bootfähige iso aus dem boot-usb-stick zu erstellen?
                                wenn der gira-boot-stick die partition usw komplett machet, wieso nicht alles in der vm so anlegen lassen wenn die bios440.rom modifiziert und die mac der natzwerkkarte modifiziert wurde?

                                mit dem plop boot manager klappt es nicht!

                                  @doity: Hab es gerade auch zufällig so versucht gehabt. Habe ein 4.8 Image genommen und versucht dies mittels mod. BIOS upzugraden. Er findet den Datenträger mit Version 4.8, allerdings kann er es nicht mounten, invalid argument.

                                  Live-Dist booten und das ganze manuell machen funktioniert wie es aussieht, werde berichten.
