@kevkevev kannst du evtl die VM mal hochladen? gerne auch ohne Seriennummer usw, da ich die informationen von meinem HS4 eintragen würde. Nutze den VM-HS nur als Testobjekt.

These Hyper-V scripts only allow to change the BIOS serial. No way to change the system name, so we will need to use patched binaries on Hyper-V.

@sinn3r – Hast Du eine Lösung gefunden ohne das man ein Bios vorgaukeln muss mit der richtigen product_serial bzw. product_name?
Die VM von kev läuft zwar mit ESXI perfekt aber auf einer virtualisierungsumgebung wie zB. auf meinem QNAP-NAS wo ich kein BIOS
vorgeben kann, komme ich damit nicht weiter.

Wow, great that you found a way to patch the binaries. Now you can (offcourse if you have the original HS) virtualize an HS for testing purposes.

It should be easy to create an Hyper-V image now, with these Patched binaries. In the other thread someone already shared a VMWare image.
We probably need a new VM because of the new partition sizes.

@sinn3r Nachdem ich jetzt die beiden bin´s ersetzt habe und das Verzeichnis patched samt Dateien kopiert habe, strtet der HS jetzt leider nicht mehr. Ich bekomme “Failed to start hs_main.service” und “Failed to start hs_admin.service”
Irgendeine Idee was ich falsch gemacht habe?

Bekomme beim booten der VM eine Meldung, dass keine Schreib-Berechtigung vorhanden sei…

@sinn3r, die gleiche Idee habe ich auch gehabt :-) Hab’s aber auch erst seit gestern am Laufen. Warst schneller :-)
Eine Frage habe ich dennoch. Du schreibst vom dmiedit programm. Hast du dafür einen Link ? Ich finde nur das von 2009, und das persistiert nur bis zum nächsten Restart auf meinem Rechner. Bräuchte eins für das d3003 Board.

I’ve got an issue with a building block, since version 4.9.
This is a ping module, who pings an ip.
Now i’m getting python errors stating that you must be root for that operation.
I guess because the process executing this (one of the hs_main processes) is not running under root (id:0) but Gira (id:1000) account.
